ar ago this week I took a part-time job in a wine store, or as I like to call it the WHine store, to pursue my passion of becoming a full-time voice and content contributor for mature women navigating life on our own.

My friends and family don’t understand me, my excitement, and what drives me to continue walking (skipping happily) on this path that introduces me to so many wonderful women and experiences.

Yes, there are days filled with self-doubt, I question my creativity, ability, and tenacity.

I choose to walk in faith

Taking risks is part of the journey, I learn from failure and even allow myself to take an occasional bow when I enjoy success, I celebrate no matter how small.

There are times it can be scary- but the rewards and sense of purpose I feel in my soul outweigh the fear.

I choose to walk in faith

Can’t explain it, I just know in my soul, I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing.

I chose to walk in faith

As we age, the pleasant surprises can be fewer.

I never imagined I would find the courage to reinvent myself in my 60s while navigating life on my own.

Don’t let age be your obstacle….Instead, use it as a springboard!
