I was all fired up today and I just have to share why! When I opened my eyes at 3:30 AM, I felt a wave of excitement wash over me with my first thought being: “I know my purpose and why it’s taken so long to discover it.”

Let’s be clear: from the day we’re born, we begin aging, right? But looking back, I realize my path to finding my purpose really began around 50, both emotionally and physically. I had to embrace, understand, and welcome the process of aging after 50. It wasn’t easy, but necessary.

I’ve learned to gracefully mourn the passing of my youth and even my midlife—let’s face it, I’m no longer in midlife—and I’ve learned to get excited about the new, more mature me that I have yet to discover and love in this next chapter of life fully.

As I lay there, fragments of unfinished thoughts and memories flooded my mind. Some were good, others not so much, but I was grateful for all of them. Each memory was a moment in time, replaying in the stillness and dark of the night, contributing to the tapestry of my life.

I began this random loose thought by saying I know my purpose now. It’s woven into my passion: to build an extraordinary community of mature and late-age women, with or without partners, who are committed to inspiring, supporting, encouraging, educating, and lifting each other up, always.

I proudly wear my purpose and passion as a badge of honor on this life-changing adventure teeming with never-ending affirmation and personal growth, you just have to look for it. I have a new perspective on the privilege of aging, filled with excitement and anticipation for what the future holds for all of us.

So, my sisters in solidarity, let’s celebrate and continue to inspire and uplift one another, running toward each new day with courage and passion. Stay fired up, and stay tuned!

I can’t wait to launch my new private Facebook group, WOMEN WITH(out) PARTNERS, later this year.

With love and purpose,
